For my birthday, Bette invited a bunch of my friends and family to go out and eat at one of my favorite restaurants, Shorty’s Place, in Falls City, Texas. I had a 30oz sirloin, and it was delicious. Afterward, we met up with some other friends in San Antonio at Hotshots Billiards to watch our friend Andy’s band Mind Frame play. Andy was also celebrating his birthday that day. Bette and I went to Colorado to visit my brother, Michael, his wife, Kyla, and their daughter, Sydney. We all had a wonderful time hanging out and playing in the snow, and cannot wait to go back. Here are some photos from the trip.

Bette and I are engaged!
I proposed to her earlier tonight and she said “Yes!.” We’re both really excited! We’re looking to have a wedding about a year from now in December.
Anyway, back to calling our friends and family and letting them know the news!
